Fetterman told Jewish Insider that Stevens rightly held El-Sayed accountable for his views on Israel and focus on Jewish money, labeling El-Sayed's response as an overreaction driven by 'little man syndrome.' The feud stems from Stevens urging El-Sayed to condemn an outside ad she deemed antisemitic linking Israel aid to grocery prices; his campaign then barred her from events. Amid a tight race against Republican Mike Rogers that could sway Senate control, Stevens plans to vote for El-Sayed despite her fiancé backing Rogers over Jewish safety concerns.
