I don’t see why this is making fun of Americans. This is honest work making American products that Americans use. Isn’t this the point of the tariffs?

Nah our worker productivity is directly tied to innovation and tech.
We stopped producing low value stuff and started manufacturing higher value products, and per capita are larger in mfg than China.
Thats how our economy advanced. Tech and innovation create a productive advantage.

They are catching up. But its too late, manufacturing is already leaving China.
They will need to do like we did and pivot to higher value manufacturing or high tech.
