It used to be that prescription drugs were not included as part of your deductible - only medical services. A few years back, I noticed that I did not get any prescription benefits until I met my deductible, and that is really when I learned how much prescription drugs really cost. Most of my deductible went towards prescription drugs, not doctor's visits.

Seems to me that this reduction in prescription costs should make my plan premiums go down, no? If prescription drugs are that much cheaper, I will probably never meet my deductible unless I have surgery or some other expensive procedure done. The insurance company should not have to pay for any of the prescription drugs, most years.

They're lowering prescription drugs for Medicare and Medicaid. Normal working people won't see a difference.

POTATUS undid Trump’s prescription drug and insulin deal and is trying to take credit for redoing it in a shitty way.

They aren't lowering prices. Big Pharma is still getting the full cost on the taxpayer dime.
