re: CBS disrespected the people of Texas and Trump wasn't having it

The other thing that cracks me up about your insane attempt at a Gotcha:
Earlier in the thread, you expected Trump to be able to answer for everything that went down in Texas, down to a timeline.
Yet you voted for a retard that not only did not know where he was, but also could not say the person's name you listed when he was asked about it. Not only that, but the way he mocked anyone that was outraged by American citizens being killed by your new voting bloc was also a sight to behold.
The level of retardation it takes to support progressive talking points today is off the charts, but you give it a good try.

I love how much it kills yall that his plans are working. Clearly you’ve never negotiated anything more than super sizing your value meal.

Wrong. The emergency alerts were sent out. Dummy.
The talking point now appears to be: "Why didn't the specific alerts go out to these specific locations in the middle of nowhere, at four fricking AM no less, to people with limited cell service while they were sleeping".
The alerts and warnings the days prior are not enough. Trump himself should have been on TV at 3AM before the cabins were washed away to let everyone know what was happening.
This is how their brains operate and it is hilarious when you consider they voted for Biden, then Harris.

It is absolutely disgusting. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows this was a freak incident and trying to place blame is just sick and evil. They are leftists, though.

Late, that's the problem.
It's not Trump's fault of course, or the governor... But someone fricked up, or a protocol is written improperly and it potentially cost lives. Whichever it was, there's nothing wrong with wanting to fix it.
Unfortunately the media wasn't digging into the Cali fires with the same gusto.

Grieving is normal. The media's profiting from grief is a perversion of that normal process.
People have forgotten that we're not in control. Our technology gives the illusion that we're in control, but when it's all said and done, everything you know and love can be taken from you by a catastrophe.
Don't seek comfort in trying to place blame for a natural disaster. Seek comfort in faith and the outpouring of love and support by the people that want to help.
There are a lot of good people out there. The media are not among them. They are the enemy of the people and have sought to undermine all that is good and normal in this country, because if people are happy and resilient then they don't need some new world order that their masters seek to impose upon the free world.

How TF did a flood emergency alert go out 12 hours before the flood?
You're talking about flood warnings. Try and keep up.

That's what we are trying to tell you. Nobody fricked up. Even the national weather pros that absolutely detest Trump and push daily lies like the manmade global warming are all saying everything that could have been done by forecasters and local authorities was handled as best as it could be in a freak incident.
Had this happened at 4PM instead of 4AM, no doubt a lot of lives would have been saved by virtue of timing. This was a worst case scenario. Period.
It is no accident that more people are killed at night by tornadoes as well. Warnings go out, people are sleeping, more people die. Just a sad situation with no one to blame.

Exactly.
I've witnessed cognitive dissonance in real time. I remember during a flood event in progress telling my neighbors to get out, because we were about to be flooded. Their reply, "Oh, we've been here since the 80s and this part of the neighborhood didn't flood."
Guess what. It did flood and they lost valuable time in saving precious things and their vehicles.
People have this ability to ignore evidence and rely too much on historical trends. Every day, history is being made. It's the nature of how things work. The only thing one can depend on is that we don't know everything.
That's not to say a person should be in a constant state of paranoia, but don't ignore what your senses perceive. Don't ignore common sense.
Hopefully, people will learn from this disaster and think for themselves... Who am I kidding? Some will, but most won't.

So in your mind, this is a gotcha?
You can call it whatever you want; I don’t care. It was pointing out your hypocrisy. Plain and simple. You said I was using the dead children as a political pawn. I correctly pointed out what the right does and used Laken Riley as an example.
quote:So sorry that you get upset and have to resort to name calling when that is pointed out. That is when I know that any meaningful debate is over. Since you indicated it can’t be stated enough I will say state, It can't be said enough: you people are sick. Period.

Other officials received similar questions and answered appropriately. And they did not get all worked up like Trump or even worked up like you are. Again, so sorry you are worked up for pointing out the hypocrisy of your statement.
You don’t know who TF I voted for. I can 100% tell you this, it was not Kamala Harris or Biden. I don’t give af if he was able to pronounce her name or not. I was simply pointing out the hypocrisy of your statement about me using the dead kids as a political pawn.
But but but Biden seems to be your go to argument

Correct. People get desensitized to warnings to the point that they no longer believe any of them are legit.

Also, how is wanting people or protocols to be held accountable making this political? What political point am I trying to push?

I have no clue. You don’t appear to be that bright hut. You’re trying to place blame when there is none to place. So you tell us….
Dummy.

Why are you mentioning forecasters when I'm speaking about actions done *once the flooding has occurred*?
Some of you better be thankful there isn't a 100IQ requirement to access the internet.
