A trillion dollar economy disappearing in such a time frame would be unprecedented. There are very few historical examples of such a situation, and none of them have modern levels of development.

Why do we hate Canada?
Canadians I know are super nice people, but weak on borders, 2A, etc. and prefer the government being in control of their lives. The ones I know love America and have been here for over 25 years, but still think like Canadians.
