Judges are making their own rules and there is no repercussions to them. Congress needs to pass a law that states if a judge releases a career criminal and they kill again, no matter the reason, then the judge should be sentenced for the same crimes the criminal he released is facing.
Also, the family should be able to go after then judge for damages.

If bartenders can be charged for aiding a drunk (Ex: continue to serve drinks and then let them drive) who kills an innocent person then a Judge or an AG should be held to the same standards when releasing a criminal with a rap sheet.
