Do you pay for Facebook? Cuz that would be really dumb

So you would be ok with ISPs that that heavily throttled or blocked facebook?

Yeah I honestly don't get it either. Everybody needs to quit using these liberal run social media websites.

She is 100% correct. White supremacy is a bogeyman used to draw attention away from the problems that really affect black Americans.

What happens to businesses or entities that need social media platforms to reach vast audiences, but all of them are left leaning?

ISPs are certainly closer to Ma Bell than Facebook is

The sad part is that this is coming from a conservative leaning website.

Conservatives should just create a competitor to Facebook. Follow the free market principles you support.

If there were a viable alternative to them conservatives would flock to it.

They don't wade into partisan political waters, like any smart business, and they enjoy a thriving online presence with the help of social media platforms

If they could do it to Ma Bell why not Facebook?

Because the internet is wide open.

Telephone poles, right of ways, infrastructures, etc. were not (breaking up Ma Bell was a terrible idea as well). You're not the first idiot to bring up this idea and won't be the last.

Actually, today's ISPs closely resemble the aftermath of Ma Bell's break-up. We have a bunch of ISPs (mostly cable) across the country that have carved up their own territories and do not bother to expand (because that would mean "competition").

I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt

Otherwise, I reject your non-sequitur as impertinent

It's certainly bizarre to see how giddy they are with these practices.

Facebook is a private business. They can absolutely control what they want to host and not host.

Why is it hard to understand this?

So a podcast or Facebook page that caters to conservatives should be banned from operating because social media hates conservatives?

What is their business? Did they change their business plan recently?
