Either it depends on the particular mods political views or maybe that mod is having a bad day.
I've been warned/banned for the posting the same type of post others have and was fine.....
People are human and imperfect, subject to their particular emotions and "ideas".

So true, yet so foreign to many folks.
A HUGE part of life is figuring out how to recognize and negotiate certain environments. Whether that be socially, at work, or on a message board.

On the forums I've worked for (not here) it also depended on how many times somebody has been warned, the severity of the issues they've been reported on, and other issues.
But then too I've worked with some that would banhammer at the drop of a pin.
