This is a dicey response

This seems to be an ER implying it was at least perceived to be an emergency.

Doesn’t at face value appear to be a case of the sniffles—I don’t think you read the thread title

Hospital and providers deserved to be sued and lose licenses over this

I don’t think a nurse can refuse to take care of a pt.Would be considered abandonment.
We had a situation once,pt.dying of AIDS.Females were all refusing to take care of him,threatening to walk out,big hourah.They would have lost their license had they done so.
I volunteered to care for him to stop all the drama.

Their reaction made no sense to me,universal precautions and you’re in no danger.
No one was expecting them to have intimate relations with him.

Women being women.

Were they refused treatment? The OP only says they were treated rudely.
