Credit where due. This post is spot on.

It’s such an odd perspective that anyone would think one is somehow tied to the other.
People with the most money get the best treatment, correct? And people without any money basically get ignored. Can you acknowledge that?

Apparently the term “dignity” here means nothing more than cubbies’ severely misguided perception, with a healthy dose of a chip on the shoulder.
What’s your definition?
You keep going back and forth between actually discussing this and making snarky comments to the peanut gallery.

A better question is whether dignity can exist outside of such a society?
Interesting thought.

but human dignity will almost always be curtailed if there are no property rights, rule of law, or ability to improve one’s lot in life.
Not in The Commons.

Nah
In settings and situations that mean anything to me, such things don’t matter one whit. You should focus on similar settings and situations, it seems.

Nope. I’m being consistent. Pay attention.

Pointing out facts means I focus on them? You keep trying to make this personal, either by disparaging my truly inconsequential professor and now me.

There’s that perception hang up again. Ponder, perhaps, that’s what you need to reassess.

Yeah because you’re not poor.

Capitalism is not the problem. Financialization seems to be the root of evils.
I didn’t see this earlier. Can you say more about this?

The greatest thing about capitalism is freedom of choice.
Freedom to buy what you want from who you want.
Freedom also to work for whoever you want to, or do whatever job you want to. You want to work for a company or start your own business? Your choice.
Every other system doesn’t offer that.
I suggest you move to Venezuela.
