Pete Buttigeig acknowledged Tuesday that Democrats “maybe” would have fared better last year had Joe Biden not run for reelection, while defending the former president’s mental acuity.

'With the benefit of hindsight, Mr. Buttigeig, weren't you one of the individuals calling for putting Biden on Mt. Rushmore? How do you square these two statements'

I don't like the Republican Party, either, because many of them are as corrupt as the Democrats. But the Democrats are straight-up THUGS

I have not voted for a democrat in a nation election dating back to 1960. - The only time I wavered was Ford v Carter, and finally decided to go with Ford.

BUT - since the Obama disaster, anyone who can even TOLERATE a democrat (on the national level - lots of good democrats at local level but they cannot survive the 'politics' and retain their goodness.) needs to examine their motives because they cannot be for anything other than some personal advantage they receive from the illicit democrat programs - it cannot be that they are better to ensure ultimate progress for the fate of humanity, let alone the nation itself.

What screwed them is not having a real primary. Not leaning on democracy.

100% agree

And I’ll add that if a primary were to take place, Kamala wouldn’t have been the nominee.

So Buttigieg never had a conversation with Biden before the debate?

Well Biden only had like 3 cabinet meetings during his entire administration so the conversations were probably rare.

She had all the advantages.

Until the lights went on, the sound system worked, and she came out of the darkness of the Naval Observatory and some people paid attention to her as head of the ticket.
