But you don't need a gun

Been hearing this argument a lot from the gun grabbers here lately.

The argument goes something along the lines of: When have you ever used your gun? If you've never used it then you don't really need it.

I had a lib ask me if I owned anything else I've never used. It took all of three seconds for me to think of that fire extinguisher under my kitchen cabinet I have never used.

Of course once he was hit with that he tried to move the goalposts to the fact that fire extinguishers aren't used to kill people - completely abandoning his point.
