The Brits have been in Afghanistan spending blood and treasure right there with us the entire time. Not only did we not consult them ahead of time, but now the administration wouldn't even take the call whenever shite hit the fan? The British have every right to be livid.
The UK can be a good ally without being a US lapdog.
