Evelyn Perez-Verdia, a former office spokeswoman who left several years ago, said Sunday evening she was told by people in the office that the letter was sent “to Tallahassee” earlier in the day.
Norris-Weeks said she saw an early draft of the letter. In the version she saw, she said Snipes, 75, expressed a desire to spend more time with her family.
The voice mail on Snipes’ cell phone was full Sunday night, and she didn’t immediately respond to a text message.
The exact effective date of the resignation was unclear Sunday evening.
Dr. Brenda Snipes through the years
Brenda Snipes' 2018 resignation as Broward Supervisor of Elections ends 15 years in office. (Joe Cavaretta, Susan Stocker, Amy Beth Bennett, Carline Jean, Jim Rassol, Michael Laughlin)
Norris-Weeks said she believes it was effective Jan. 2. Perez-Verdia said she was told the effective date was Jan. 5.
A January resignation would likely put responsibility for appointing a replacement in the hands of Gov.-elect Ron DeSantis, rather than outgoing Gov. Rick Scott.
DeSantis’s swearing in is Jan. 8. Scott was elected to the U.S. Senate, and the swearing-in for that job is Jan. 3. Scott hasn’t said when he’ll leave office to become a senator, but Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera could be the state’s chief executive for several days in January.

So no investigation? No one will correct the Florida election process in the Counties where malfeasance in office is taking place. It is almost as if the Democratic Party just wants this issue to go away quickly so they get Nelson to conceive and have her resign back to back.
Florida and the FEC need to get their shite straight with this rouge counties.

Brenda Snipes submits her resignation as Broward County,
I think the Dems overplayed their hands and may have wakened a sleeping giant.
This obvious attempt at theft wasn't really worth it.
A governership and a Senate seat that wasn't going to shift the balance of power were at stake and they brought a huge magnifying glass down on themselves for the next election.

TALLAHASSEE The Florida Department of State has asked federal prosecutors to look into faulty forms sent to voters in at least four counties that may have caused them to miss the deadline for fixing problems with their mail-in ballots. Emails released by the department show that the forms appear to have been sent by the state Democratic Party. In a post-midterm season that is bubbling over with lawsuits and allegations of rampant voter fraud, this is the first instance in which state officials have flagged a possible violation of elections law. The investigation was requested in a letter, sent Friday, Nov. 9, from Bradley McVay, the department’s general counsel, to the U.S. attorneys for the northern, middle and southern districts of Florida. Despite the letter’s sent date, it was only released to news outlets Tuesday.

Good. She’s clearly incompetent.
