Having actually met with myers and faircloth (also met Racca before the primary), I found him to be the better choice. He was extremely straightforward about his opinions, immensely qualified with both extensive criminal and civil experience, and just seemed like a no-nonsense kinda guy. Faircloth was a little cagey, and refused to answer any question regarding personal beliefs other than that he was pro life. Myers will likely only be eligible to serve 1 term, so Jordan will get another crack at it before long. The vote on the PEC was almost unanimous. Myers was the better candidate.

I bet you’d find a lot of people you wouldn’t expect contributed to Landrieu. She was an absolute machine at delivering pork to Louisiana, something which has been noticeably missed with Cassidy on the hill.

So the EBR republican committee's response to Meyers supporting Mary Landrieu in 2014 is "lots of people supported landrieu. She brought home the bacon". Tells you all you need to know and why you should vote the young buck Faircloth.

Kingbob, did EBR PEC know Myers more often contributed to democrats than republicans when you endorsed him? Just curious.

. I’m just explaining why the PEC voted the way they did.

So we have a state, run by republicans, that has failed to do anything to stop the 1 entity that is Democrat ran. A legislature that despite seeing the red wave of Florida and Texas, REFUSES to take any bold action in a very red state because they are too afraid of the Democrats. And now you are saying that these same asshats are voting for the same establishment guy that donated to Landrieu?

This is a problem, Bob. This is why people like Edwards gets elected, then re-elected. Because you have a group of RINO's who are still doing it "The way it used to be" in a state that is no longer blue dog democrat. Stop wasting the taxpayers time with your middle of the road RINO bullshite and elect CONSERVATIVE CHANGE!
