Both sides seem to want this investigated

Looking on Twitter this morning, it seems everyone both on the left and right know that this stinks. Libs think Trump is behind it. The right thinks the Clintons are behind it. Maybe it actually ends up being investigated

Outside of a very few crazies, like AOC, no one on the Left really thinks Trump was behind it. Most of the Left will allow that narrative to play out for a little while because they think it could hurt Trump to have the accusation against him. However, those in the know, know that they can only allow that con to go on for so long before they have to stop it for fear that it either will prove zero connection to Trump (would make the anti-Trump crowd look even more like sky screamers) or that it might actually point back to the Deep State.
The Trump-Right is happy to have the investigation move forward because of those reasons - either clear Trump or confirm what Trump has been saying all along.
The non-Trump-Right is also worried that it could lead back to the Deep State.
IMO this will be a lot of huff and puff from some on the left but it will die to the next news cycle - there’s far too much to lose for far too many entrenched DCers.

Well we see how far all of the other investigations of the elite have gone. Why should anyone be concerned about this "investigation."
