My nickname for the St. Louis couple who went outside, brandishing firearms, in an effort to protect their home from BLM goons. And, just think. These 2 uber-wealthy lawyers are (were) by all accounts solidly left-wing when it comes to politics.

Maybe this incident AND IMAGE (A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS) will wake up moderates and even the Center-Left with regards to what these subversive Marxist groups like Antifa and BLM are really all about.

They donated to Guliani and Trump multiple times. I'm not sure your description is correct.

It's okay as a working title but I don't think #Bonnie&Clyde2.0 ultimately captures the essence of the scene.

How much would you bet that they both had the safeties on.

That is NOT the ready position for either a sidearm or a rifle.

This is the "ready position" for a handgun:

If you see someone holding a weapon in one of THOSE positions, that means he or she knows what they are doing and you should probably not advance shouting that you are going to murder them.

How is that even close to Bonnie and Clyde? Bonnie and Clyde were cop killers and criminals.

By contributing to Trump's campaign?

This one's a big swing and miss.

I've seen both assertions made about them so often that they are either prog-libs or rep-cons I'm wondering if both might be true. It's not uncommon and it's smart politics to give to both sides during a campaign you are just purchasing influence, not placing yard signs. I have no idea if that is actually the case with our homeowners here though. I'd like to hear from the horses mouth or at least a local who was in a place to understand and break down their actual political views.

Okay. I had read where they were solidly on the Left side of the political equation. If it was bad info, then it was bad info.

The way she's holding it, unless her grip strength is that of Glenn Quagmire trapped in his basement with nothing but porn, that's gonna kick up and left the second she pulls the trigger.

In the background, he's somehow going to fire while holding the buttstock.

The video is awesome. She came off that porch like a bolt of lightning while I guess he was looking for his rifle. Crazy as a loon. If they would have mobbed her she would have been done for. Then they consolidated back near the house. Damn insane

To be fair, it's not a situation the average American rehearses every day.

Although, perhaps we need to start.

The way you rehearse for that is how you approach the door when notified of a potential unwelcome guest.

One of the key things is that you can't just have a firearm, you also have to have a blade ready.

This is probably the most earthshaking news article to appear this week or this month.

All of the Karens on Fakebook and Twatter sill be seeing this and thinking “MY GAWD!! That could have been my house and my family!” They will be realizing that the option of calling 911 is a fallacy. They are realizing that the police would never get there on time in ordinary times, but with the current circumstances of the police being overworked, outmanned and their law enforcement actions restrained by their superior authorities, they may not get there until the next day, if ever.
These same anti-gun and anti 2nd amendment individuals will suddenly suffer from deep anxiety and become extremely anxious for self protection or hired protection services. They will expect to be immediately able to obtain arms for self defense and the protection of their significant others. In most cases it is too late as that boat has sailed. The restrictions that they supported against others are now applying to them. and the supply chain has been drained.

I applaud them. They had the foresight to have their weapons close enough at hand to respond. Their technique was abysmally poor but their response was proper. It was effective and that is all that matters in the end. Move along nasty scum, move along.

My response time will be much quicker and my technique will be quite good. Everything is already laid out and ready to go.

They aren't professional, but the message came across. Nobody got in their yard. With these thugs, that's all you need most of the time.

We can pick on their technique, but i bet they've done more to stand up to these thugs than 99% of the rest of the country.

I applaud them.

Seems to be some different information swimming out there regard their true political leanings. I definitely read where they were lefties, or else I wouldn't have made the claim.

I guess the question is more-or-less unsettled now.
