For reference, these are Disney main blockbusters releases this year: (
>Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (MCU): $200 million budget, mild flop.
>Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (MCU) : $250 million budget, their only hit of the year.
>The Little mermaid (Live action remake): $240 million budget, mild flop.
>Elementals (Pixar): $200 million budget, barely broke even.
>Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (LucasFilm): $300 million budget, one of the biggest bombs of all time.
>Haunted Mansion (WDP): $150 million budget, bombed.
>The Marvels: $220 million budget, one of the biggest bombs of all time (again!)
>Wish (WDAS): $175 million budget, it just came out but after having the second worst ever opening for a Disney animated movie, it's safe to say, another bomb.
1.735 billion dollars spent on a couple of illusions to help people ignore the fact that people are in destatute situations in this country living and dying in the streets. Many of them veterans.
But don't worry, Hollywood will wag their fingers at lowly blue collar families and say we need to do more to help out fellow man. "TAX the RICH".... Just not the real rich, tax those assholes that manage to work themselves into an early grave trying to provide for and improve the lives of they families and children's futures.
Such disgusting hypocrites.

Clear that Disney has ruined itself by going woke but I also wonder if these low numbers are also caused by people just not going to the movies anymore and waiting for it to come out on the multiple streaming platforms that are available.

Oppenheimer, a movie one wouldn't think should have really wide appeal, did almost a billion.
Pretty obvious people will go to movies that are not shite propaganda pieces.

Because thats what modern man wants. Life has become so boring we spend money on all kinds of stupid shite to keep from having to deal with our inner selves.
