So what differentiates these self loathing black folks from a guy like you? Would you say it has to do with the way in which you were raised? I guess what I'm asking is, why do so few black people escape this viscous cycle of logic

I think it is individual attitude and choice.
There wasn't a single thing that went right in my childhood and upbringing, except this - some Christians came through the neighborhood one Saturday asking parents if they could pick up the kids for church the next morning.
My mom was glad to get rid of us for a few hours. I met God a few weeks later and he changed my whole outlook and opinion.
Born into poverty and the projects, no Dad, no other adult family.
The rest of it was a nightmare that I don't really care to share anymore. But I will tell you this, just so you know....I did 18 weeks in solitary confinement as a child.

God changed all of that in one generation, me.
Both of my kids went to college and are very successful. I've been happily married for 35 years, I gross in excess of 150K. The American dream is available to all Americans. I'm no superman.

Do you agree a major problem is the "high level thinkers" as you call them mostly leave the community behind and it's nothing but "low level thinkers" remaining which just spirals ever downward.

Should I have stayed in the old hood and had my stuff stolen and broken every night? My kids bullied and beatup for making good grades?

Why do so many have this innate/primordial need to exact revenge on whites?
I mean, the same thing happened in reverse in years past.
