Before segregation ended this was a reality. Just like whites owning Mom and Pop stores.
Its not as simple as you think it would be.
The same way corporate monsters like walmart took out the mom and pops. The mom and pops took out the Black businesses.
As a consumer we all want convenience and the cheaper price. Because of this I'm not going to drive across town to spend more money.
In the black business community the black owned funeral home, & barber/beauty shops are the only businesses that consistently thrive
