They also have to have metal bindings holding the roofs on -- at least for those who can afford it. They've seen more than a few hurricanes.

I was in Freeport, Grand Bahama in Feb. They haven't really bounced back from the last one (Irma?). The number of damaged and destroyed hotels was staggering. I've been to Abaco as well and it's heartbreaking imagining what those people are going through. It is beautiful place.

It supposedly does go up to the Carolina's and now they are saying if it stays slow it could rebuild up.
