Blackburn, IMHO, will be considered for Trump’s running mate

So if none of the other republicans get their stuff together and leave the primaries to Trump, I think Blackburn will be on the list of potential VPs.
I say this after having contributed to her campaign. I was asked by a friend of mine in Tennessee to make a contribution and I did. Within 24 hours I received three spam texts from her campaign seeking money for Trump’s campaign.
Obviously she is confident in her own re-election but still the only reason I can see that she would stick her neck out for Trump is because she wants the VP spot. Trump will have to at least give her a nod if she successfully raises any significant money for him. I doubt there are many incumbent Senators raising money for any Presidential candidate.

I think he needs someone far more fiery. And it should be a Latina woman. A woman for sure.
It’s perplexing to me why the GOP is still behind the curve with Latins. Blacks are already and will forever be in the Dem camp, but looking at the demo shifts lately, trying to pull Latins is a good plan IMO.

Blackburn is among the worst of the worst RINOS out there. Her motivation is to dine at the trough for as long as she can. Blackburn has been a political presence for over 30 years, yet her career as a legislator has been unremarkable. She has not authored a single piece of significant legislation during all this time. Biggest claim to fame is renaming buildings? For $174k/year, a complete waste of taxpayer money.
Why is she helping raise money for Trump? An ingratiating sycophant drawn to the flame like a moth trying to ride his coattails and stay in the limelight.
If Trump wants to attract Independents, Latinos and Gen Z voters, she's among the worst choices he could make. A vapid RINO in the worst sense.

You may be right. I am not particularly drawn to her. I contributed just because my very good friend is involved.
