Make sure you give this question some thought before you answer, if you don't want to be exposed as two-faced, hypocritical bigot.

The irony is strong with this one.

If an idea is valid and not racist fun one person, it is valid and not racist if uttered by another. The person uttering may or may not be a racist but the idea is what it is regardless. If it is a constructive idea, then it is constructive regardless.

Careful though. You just may have outed yourself as a two faced bigot.

In all seriousness. How in the Hell are we ever supposed to reach a point in this nation where we can discuss ALL solutions that may have a racial component to them if there are people seriously arguing that only people coming from a certain ideology are allowed to speak candidly on the subject lest they be labeled racist?

The sob in the video literally cried "racist" based SOLELY on who he thought was doing the talking. And he appears Tito think he's being rational. And tracfan has the EXACT same dysfunction. We are fricked

The cognitive dissonance is strong in trackfan.

Or there is a ton of miscommunication in this thread.

I went to 90+ % black schools for 4 years and I can tell you why blacks are poor and stupid at a disproportionate rate. There is an anti-social culture that too many of them subscribe to says if a black person (esp a child) tries to excel in school and speak proper english, they are "acting white". There is literally peer pressure to talk like a dumb frick and not try in school. There were a small handful of black students at my school that were trying hard and they were ridiculed and brought to tears almost daily. I don't think that elementary school kids came up with the "acting white" insult on their own. It was passed down.

Most blacks know what I am talking about, unless they had a more priveledged childhood than I did. There are two dialects and speech patterns that many blacks use. One for professional settings or around whites, and another when "keeping it real".

You can call it criticism (constructive or destructive), racism, dog whistling or whatever else. It's true, and when they're being honest, most blacks will admit it. Until the "black community" outgrows the downward peer pressure, blacks will continue to underperform as a group.

Sign me up on the side that believes only criticism exists, and there is no such thing as destructive or constructive criticism. Those are just terms used by the immature who are not ready to grow up.

My best friend in high school was a black guy with Jamaican parents. He was a 4.0 student who spoke well. His parents were on him to excel like some kind of Asian stereotype.

I heard him called EVERYTHING. It was like the other black kids were pissed at him for being smart. It was a kkk dream come true. Make success a BAD thing!! David Duke only wishes he could screw the black community as hard as they screw themselves

Discussing atrociously high levels of Black Social Pathology is never really permitted in our society, other than anonymously. You really can't say out loud exactly what the numbers are, or why they might be that way. Black America is in no way psychologically prepared for the self-diagnosis that is required to flip the script. Liberal white America has agreed to enable Black Social Pathology because black allegiance to The Democratic Party allows them to maintain power. White Conservatives for their part, are left with the short end of the stick; The Truth. The Truth in modern America is the LAST thing that matters.

Bill Maher doing cheap parlor tricks changes nothing and causes not one second of introspection by any liberal. Liberals will continue to point the finger at everyone except for whom the responsibility actually lies with.

Kudos to you. I want to see how many more folks are willing to go on the record with this viewpoint.

The moratorium on speaking truths about race in America is self-imposed. The fear of consequences is greater than the actual consequence. If someone calls you a racist, call them an idiot. I promise the sun will still rise the next day.

You are on record in this thread as saying that EXACT QUOTES can be bad or good, racist or not racist based SOLELY upon the person uttering them.

And you want to throw darts?

Here is some truth:

The Poverty-Industrial Complex after 70 years and trillions of dollars spent, is the biggest single obstacle to Black prosperity. They have built a Narrative that has actually promoted Black Social Pathology, ruined countless lives, impoverished body and soul alike, and they do it to great CELEBRATION, with no fear of any counter-Narrative.

This is the TRUTH. Anyone that claims otherwise has not been exposed to many black people. Ask successful black people if they are cheered or derided "back home".

An example that would resonate with most of this board, since most of us are in SEC country: We can find plenty of posts on any SEC board calling Bama or Auburn fans toothless inbreds.

But how would those same message boards react to those insults if they came from Southern Cal or Notre Dame?

Do you remember all the heat Obama took when he talked about rural Pennsylvania folks who clinged to their guns and religion, despite the fact that these folks were by and large pro-gun, religious people?

I do remember that. I remember he said a couple other things about them that may have contributed to the heat.

Mentioning the phrase "honest and open dialogue" in the same sentnce with Rush Limbaugh is laughable.

Mr. Limbaugh isn't trying to better the black community, he's actually rallying his troops to work against their interest.

Intent actually counts for something and that was at the heart of Kamau Bell's retort. If black "culture" is the problem with black "poverty" , as many of ya'll claim, then it's really a black problem and the white people peanut gallery isn"t really helping.

You are quite mistaken. We would love to see the black communities rise up and be productive. You think we enjoy supporting them? Hell no. We want them to be self sufficient contributing members of society. It's the liberals that fear this because they'd lose their democratic plantation. I don't see anyone hating on productive educated black people.
