59 Billion for foreign aid is a waste. It will not, nor will it ever make a difference to foreign countries because the items purchased using aid money ends up in hands of thieves.
I'd rather spend the yearly "foreign aid donation" money in the U.S of A. and tell the other countries to eff off.

In past times, when one Nation or People decided to take over another Nation/People's economic affluence, the aggressor had to raise an Army and whup arse. No more, they simply whine inequality and walk across an open Border to begin accessing all manner of our Nation's Taxpayer Monies. And many of these people are unemployable slackers, with various psychoses from being reared in heathen/violent cultures...and finally there is the criminal herd, of the which no description is necessary. Mexico is one of the most violent Nations in the World; there are reasons why (innate character disrespect for Rule of Law at the fore), and we want none of that crap. You can put lipstick on a pig...but it's still a pig.
The Progressive Dem Party has become Global Authoritarian Socialist, and their Egalitarian Ideology is incompatible with Constitutional Principles. It's either-or...CD. I call bs on your assertion "nothing to do with immigration"; the Dems lost the Rust Belt, and they have to import new voters, are lose power. They won't abide that; they are on a moral crusade.

Like I said, you can think all these reasons are stupid and you may even be right. But my entire point - which most people are missing - is that the reasons we oppose The Wall are different that what you may think.
