There really isn't anything IMO.

Get X, follow some breaking news accounts, tolerable traditional media accounts, and then writers/personalities, etc. that care about what you care about. It's the best option. Then trace their post back to what source material they provide. If you don't trust it, search for the topic to get more context.

That's pretty much how I operate these days. I still look at RCP every now and then which is as fair as it gets for an aggregator.

The problem I have with most new media or conservative media is it is either pretty niche and won't give you the "news" (but does provide enriching content) - something like PirateWires or First Things. Or it'll just feed you lots of outrage bait that might not actually be meaningful news (like Breitbart). They have their place, but it's not a one stop shop.

X is about the best you can do for that - just essentially create your own curated aggregator and make sure you purge the resources that you discover are not giving you fair/accurate recitations of the source material.

My conservative, Victor Davis Hanson subscribing best friend sends me shite all the time. Usually I respond with “I already saw that on Tigerdroppings Political Page.”
