Exactly why an EO is retarded.
*ETA: an EO that continues the policies of the pats 20 years

If years of artificially low interest rates and adding 14 trillion to the money supply isnt central planning of an economy, I dont know what is.
Like no shite, housing prices have gone up
Which is exactly why an EO pushing for the same goals/effects in slightly different ways is a bad idea.

Less taxes and regs is manipulating the market?

The cat cant go back in the bag. We have a fake zombie economy now. While I do think going back to artificially low rates and buyer subsidies is a terrible idea, there are practical things the white house can do to help.
Increasing supply of VIABLE housing is the key.
Houses in violent ghettos is not viable housing.
Houses in rural areas with no industry is not viable housing.
Want to free up housing immediately?
-quadruple the police presence in neighborhoods that are good candidates for gentrification.
-Send violent criminals to prison and get them off the street.
-Start pushing back the violent crime map and people will start buying houses across the tracks
-Stop building public housing units in white school districts
-Eliminate section 8 funding
If sending in national guard to clean up cities is necessary...do it

Sure it can, at least moving forward.

like I said earlier. You have a fundamental lack of understanding of macroeconomics. That last post of yours proved it

Did you read your proposals?
The efficient economic solution is much simpler: have fedgov stop tinkering and have housing prices fall.

The one where I pointed out you argued ghetto housing was both viable and non-viable?

Its not viable when you cant trust the safety of yourself and your possessions. If people knew that there was a constant police presence and crime wasnt a factor, people absolutely would be buying those cheaper homes. There are always those in between neighborhoods that can be gentrified. When that happens the next neighborhood that was "fully ghetto" becomes the new in between neighborhood. The issue has always been crime, especially in cities.
I cant believe I have to explain gentrification to you
