Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont easily won his state’s Democratic primary on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press, all but guaranteeing his re-election in November. But Mr. Sanders is expected to snub the party that he sought to represent in the 2016 presidential election: A self-described democratic socialist, he plans to reject the nomination and run instead as an independent, according to advisers.
Since you have to be a dem to run in the dem presidential primary...I’d love to see him run as an independent.

No way they let him do that

Would be great, who would come in second and third? Probably Bernie second and Pocahonta third, not that it would matter.

Bernie is not and has not been a Democrat. He was an Independent when he ran in 2016. He claims he would have changed his party registration had he been nominated in 2016.
It is time for Bernie to "bow out" of running for the Democratic nomination for POTUS.

That's not fair to the democrats.
If you have no intention of being their standard bearer, you have no business running in their primary, let alone actually winning it.

He is not going to run as a independent in 2020 because he is part of the swamp . This sounds like a stunt to try and show his moron voters that he is a independent .

What's another lakefront house for an avowed Socialist?
His "Dacha's" are quite nice I hear.
What's the saying? "Socialism is for the People, not the Socialist."
