So, to be clear... you're telling me that the pallets of cash to Iran benefited Israel by Obama propping up and enabling an enemy of Israel because Israel likes war as a pretext for 'bigger things'.
And I thought MY tinfoil hat was impressive. I ain't got nuthin' on you.
Pray tell, Powerman... what are these Bigger Things that Israel has in store?

I don't know how to get this through to you but not a single serious person in the world gives a shite about Iran having a nuclear weapon.
Iran is only seen as a threat to the west because of its role in disrupting Western financial dominance world-wide. We can thank ourselves for that because we placed sanctions on them (to appease Israel). They needed someone to trade with so they chose China. They've expanded their oil production in spite of our sanctions which means they're telling us to frick off (as they should). Iran is a key player to BRICS nations. And if we only take out their nuclear capabilities that doesn't change one bit.
You can pretend that this is about good vs evil but it's about money and resources as most wars are. Jews vs radical Muslims? That's just a minor detail in the story. It could be shintoists vs Buddhist monks and it wouldn't make any difference.

Tried reading your link... it was junk. Author loves the word 'fulminating'.
One cool thing was the proof that since at the very least of 2011, Trump has been transparently on the Same Page as he is now.

They brought them back weeks ago.

I don't believe you.
I will cede the money and resources angle... that's always been a driving or at least underlying factor. So far as good vs. evil, I don't think Iran nor Israel qualifies as necessarily good... but I am comfortable with calling Iranian leadership evil.

Will you believe me if this morphs into a larger war against Iran and goes far beyond just taking out their nuclear program? I wonder what comfortable lies you might believe to justify those further actions.

Believe you about WHAT?
We aren't even at the point of TAKING OUT their nuclear program. This is a game of hypothetical wishcasting at this point.
What would YOU have done about all of this? Seriously.
What should the USofA be doing in regards to Israel and Iran at this exact moment in time?

We don’t have permission from the Brits to use that base to launch an attack from.
We built a huge base in 1966 have spent billions on it, but cant use it without the brits permission. You seriously believe this?

Right. Because it's not a priority.
The priority is to completely neuter Iran's ability to defend themselves or fight back.
And ultimately it will be to destroy the state entirely. That may happen without our direct involvement.
The only thing that is certain is the more this escalates the more chaos it will bring to an already severely fricked up region.

Maybe it's late (343am for me).. maybe I drank too much... but I do believe you're talking in circles and making less and less sense.
This "escalates" so long as Iran says "frick you" to limitations on their nuclear ambitions. Ball is/was in their court.

Well people care about Iran having a nuke but not for the reasons most people think. It would trigger other countries like Saudi Arabia to acquire them as well. That would disturb the nuclear monopoly in the region. We won't allow that to happen because we have an Israel first foreign policy.

Again I ask you... what should USA policy be in this situation? Very simple question.

In an ideal world we don't engage in foreign affairs in the middle east at all. If you haven't noticed we really suck at it. Our alliance with Israel has been nothing but a pain in our arse. And we've murdered countless innocent people in pursuit of their goals. Leave the middle east to their own devices.

You do understand we don't exist in a live and let live world, right?
If there is a way to stay out of it, I trust Trump more than any other politician to find it and stay out.
Trump is not a warmonger. Some of his advisors may very well be- but I think Trump is wiser this go 'round and will do all he can to balance what needs balancing and avoid any conflict that can be avoided while keeping American Wellbeing first and foremost.

You understand that our foreign policy is a disaster right? We killed hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis when we foolishly invaded them. We lost thousands of our own people and we spent trillions. For literally 0 gain.
We toppled Libya who now has literal slavery. Big favor we did them right?
Iran sucks. It's going to suck a lot more soon.

Hopefully he will. And if he doesn't he will have failed us.

I'm not as optimistic.

So... all of this, from you, has been hyperbolic doom-casting?
Jeez louise...

This is elective surgery. And Israel is driving this. It has all the makings of a legacy defining mistake for Trump. Why take that risk? Risk your entire legacy to make Bibi happy? Barf.
I'd rather Trump consider America's legacy above and beyond his own... and I think he's doing that. Or, at the very least, he finds them to be indelibly intertwined.
I just don't think y'all get it... please, read some books, dive into decades old interviews... Trump isn't the boogyman. Trump isn't stupid. Trump makes mistakes, but he learns from them.
