Probably, but it's really the white middle and upper middle class that went whole heartedly Democrat before the place went majority minority. Places like Burbank that was Lilly white at the time became Democrat strongholds. I get certain districts in Orange County which is undergoing some significant demographic change.
But after 1992 the Republicans essentially folded up their tents and left. Up until then it was reliably Republican in Presidential elections.
