Interesting take considering all of the "go back to your country" rhetoric going around. Can't be all of the hate that's the problem....just that white people are accused more readily. Lol. Gtfo

1. “Hate Crimes” are stupid.

Agreed. But if they are on the books, they have to be carried out consistently.

Misbel Borjas, who lives near Rodriguez, was passing by in a car when she saw him (the 91-year-old man) walking and trying to pass a woman and a girl.

Holy fricking shite, have you ever been to L.A. or virtually anywhere in Florida? Blacks hating Hispanics and vice versa is not some new phenomenon exclusive to "Trump's America".

In fact, it was 10x worse during the Clinton era.

Things have changed from the old days while others stay the same.

The fights between the Latinos and blacks nothing new. That been going on since I worked some of these areas. I had a co worker who was black saying hey man get out of traffic, uniform patrol soooooooo great. Yeah, until my friend to this day told me where we would work!!!!!! I saw this a lot especially after school more with school aged kids and parents.

I bet the DA and supervisors made them change the report.
