But if you extend your opinion to all the other religions, you might find things you don't like.

The problem you might find is sooner or later someone is going to be in favor of suppressing your religion...or your friends.
This is exactly why we have a constitution to protect the rights of all religions...no matter how crazy they appear to you or me.

well their courses at the local mosque are much longer and probably going to be more effective

I don't think I'd have much of an issue with Muslims coming to America if they had spring and fall "mosque picnics" with 9 dollar curry goat and nan bread to-go plates.. drive through only.. proceeds got to the mosque building fund and local scholarships.
