This brings up another point, at what point is there no escape?

I don’t think most of the people in Atlanta know about Lindbergh.

I wouldn’t say her hair sucks but I do prefer tousled hair.

Interesting. All I heard on the morning traffic was “police activity“.

That’s my reasoning for moving here 6 months ago.

Hopefully we’re correct

If you want to live in Metro Atlanta (either in the city or the burbs) that time is getting sooner and sooner. It's only getting worse and worse. I used to tell people to just skip moving to Canton, Woodstock, Cumming, etc and move up to the North Georgia Mountains. Now I am considering leaving the state all together. Wait until Stacey Abrams is Governor (its going to happen) and this state will crumble to shite.

Fair question and the answer is I’m not sure.

You can continue to retreat away from urban areas as they continue to slide into dystopian corruption. There is a lot of room in this world.

You can hope that, in time, responsibility and honesty regarding issues facing us as a society become important again.

You can have a dark view of the situation in which you are repetitively in motion to evade the ever encroaching decay over the course of your life.

Sabrina Silva is cute. Didn't think anyone still watched local news anymore. That's a nice benefit.

She must be a progressive since she hasn't been canceled yet.

Can't wait to bail from this GD place. I don't live ITP, but I am in the burbs and that bullshitee is coming soon to a neighborhood near you. It is definitely not the city I was born in and have called home for over 40 years

Born and raised. Great place to grow up.

Haven't lived there in over a decade, and no desire to ever come back. You won't miss it.

There's lots of great stuff in Georgia, but Atlanta and its surrounds are straight up fricking awful.

Yeah, the LimeCat 'do is the worst thing about her, but she's easy on the eyes.

Eventually, you run out of areas (or wherever you end up is still going to be screwed in governance, if not distance)

Can't just hope, you have to fight for it (even if it means you have to die for it)

Ah my old stomping grounds back when I joined TD. Good to know we made the right decision moving elsewhere.

Another driver shot on the interstate in Atlanta, all lanes shut down for investigation, traffic backed up…

Also, a bonus pic of a hot Latina reporting on yet another cop shot, this one in Cobb County...

Also, a security guard was shot at Lenox Square and another person was shot in South Atlanta.

There were some on the travel board talking about how safe downtown Atlanta is. Some said they go down there all.of the time and it is the same as it has been for years. In fact, they were recommending that a father bring his eight year old son for their first fathers son trip.

Depends on what exactly they mean by 'downtown'. I have seen this description used for anything from Buckhead, Midtown, West Midtown, Atlantic Station, the Airport, Virginia Highland, Inman Park, etc.

I don't know anyone who goes Downtown for anything. Outside of business hours it is a wasteland. There isn't much there and other areas of the city have better options and amenities and are far safer.
