At this point I would say the Democratic Party is abandoning the African Americans and letting BLM die. They are all in trying to work on the Hispanic vote.
I do not blame them, Trump has done more to help low income non-whites than any President in my lifetime.
The unions are about to get gutted as well.
It is the only play they have left.

Not much Protesting in the Summer what with the heat and humidity. All that bloviation tends to add to the CO2 and all anyway. Won't somebody think of the polar bears in Antarctica? (those who are capable of thinking realize there are no polar bears in Antarctica btw)
