arXiv papers are being fraudulently published to get EB-1/EB-2 visas

In many fields of mathematics and physics, almost all scientific papers are self-archived on the arXiv repository before publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

As a preprint repository, the papers archived there are not peer reviewed so anyone can post some AI generated crap.

Why would they do this...
