All I can tell you about AI is that China and leftists really really want us to stop advancing the technology. I wonder why.
I understand that people don’t like AI. And they have very good reasons for not liking it. But if we don’t advance the technology, everyone else around us will. We don’t have a choice.

I hate that it exists. I wish it didn’t. I wish nuclear bombs didn’t exist. I wish war didn’t exist. But it does. We have to come out ahead of all of it because there are people in this world who hate us and yes, want us dead. We talk about it every day here. We can’t allow them to come out ahead of us on anything. Definitely not the most advanced technology in the history of mankind.

I’m not pro-China. I also don’t think they are near the boogeyman they are made out to be.
Want to know why? Because if they were an actual threat to us then 75% of our stuff wouldn’t be made there.
Ever notice how there is always a boogeyman for our country? Soviets, ISIS, China, etc.
Your Federal government poses more of a risk to your life and freedom than anyone else. It spends more time spying on you than China, and it is then entity most likely to use force against you.

See it sounds to me like you don’t like AI. You don’t like its existence. And if you could get rid of it completely, you would.
But it also sounds like you don’t want another country to be ahead of us with it.

Well, it’s going to get rid of a lot of jobs. And that really sucks. There needs to be a plan for that.
But regardless, we have to continue to advance it. We have to invest in it. We have to do it as environmentally friendly as possible. But nothing at the expensive of not advancing it. We have to be the best at it. If we stop advancing it, it’s just going to put us behind the rest of the world. It’s not going to stop it from advancing. It’s advancing. There’s absolutely nothing that can be done about that.
If everyone would just understand that and understand that it has to be advanced, then maybe we can come together and find a way to do it with the least amount of negative impact as possible.
