He is horrible. This is why we always lose.

I no longer live in Arkansas so I’m not directly affected by Asa and the decisions he makes nor am I a fan or opponent of Asa, but having been to northwest Arkansas several times, especially the Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville, Eureka Springs quadrant, when you see, experience and realize how much Wal Mart has developed that area and how much community control they have, not just through their big money executives but thousands of vocal locals, it’s hard to see any elected state official being able or willing to stand in opposition to whatever Wal-Mart supports.
It would literally be cutting your own throat and if there is ever a coalition or group strong enough to stand against them, the state risks losing billions in Wal-Mart infrastructure spending, buildings, taxes, community recreation and arts development, highway improvement, commercial real estate and personal real estate values…if you’ve been there, you quickly realize Wal-Mart controls Arkansas and Asa nor any other politician can do anything about that but try to pander to them.
