re: are the conservatives/Christians the new jew?

My comments on this thread have not been met with a single HONEST response by any Board Liberal. (I will assume that many board liberals read them, understood them, and logically moved onto debate that interested them). They have been met with multiple Strawmen and with one rather absurd Windmill Tilter. The inability to actually read and discern on this board is scary. it's amazing how smug people who bat 1000 against the Strawman they created are about their inherent dishonesty and how many Team Obama cheerleaders (Vor, Vegas) rally around them.

And as you may or may not know, I'm a freaking agnostic that was raised Catholic, with lapsed Jewish grandparents, that is married to a Buddhist. I don't have a dog in this fight. I HAVE REFRAINED FROM POSTING IN "RELIGION" THREADS FOR A DECADE BUT HAVE OCASSIONNALLY NOTED HOW OVER THE TOP THE CRITICISM THEY RECIEVE CAN BE FROM THE LEFT. Because some of you guys have gotten so comfortable with your anti-Christian bigotry (as opposed to Nazism for the love of God)that you don't even recognize how Pavlovian your response has become. And many of you are so far down your bigoted rabbit-hole that you have lost the ability to even understand the NUANCE of a dissenting viewpoint. So here it mine again (and how you anti-Christian bigots read it):

Nobody acknowledged that I wrote this this on page one. To acknowledge it would have put a damper on all the Strawmen so many were hurriedly building.

The next step is CRIMINALIZING their behavior and opinions. That's a natural progression with Man throughout history, which is why it is imperative that ALL people condemn attempts to do so.

In 21'st Century America, it is perfectly acceptable (indeed celebrated amongst The American Cultural Taste Makers on the Coasts) to express anti-Christian bigotries publically. There is no fear of backlash like there would be against Culturally-Protected groups.

This Administration is comprised from the top down of a different kind of Religious Fundamentalist, and that is the rigid, Orthodox Leftist. They do not feel constrained by The Rule Of Law or Constitutional limitations. They have identified certain people and groups who fit the Conservative Christian Traditionalist meme and have targeted them for ridicule, abuse and government persecution. They do this to GREAT APPLAUSE from their base. Because it is considered VIRTUOUS by many on The Left (there are notable exceptions of course) to allow their bigotry towards them to guide their speech and behavior. It is in every sense, a "safe" Bigotry.

Nobody honestly argued against this.They reverted to the Nazi meme and attributed it to me. After I preemptively disavowed it on THE FIRST PAGE and argued something all together separate. They argued against the Strawmen they created.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THERE ARE THOSE ON THIS BOARD TOO DISHONEST,TOO IDEOLOGICAL, TOO ANGRY,TOO OBSTINATE TO ACTUALLY ENGAGE IN AN HONEST WAY. AND IT IS DEPRESSING THAT SO MANY PEOPLE CAN BE SO RELENTLESSLT DISHONEST, NEVER ARGUING IN GOOD FAITH, AND STILL HAVE ACCESS TO THIS BOARD.
