Perhaps you didn’t make any googles on this yourself.
Maybe the googles has something about who funded Oct 7th.
You never know……

Definitely at a minimum they are legally restricted in many ways exclusively due to their religion.

I guess I’m not really following there, in light of the particular point I was intending to reply to.

I was specifically referring to Jews in Iran. If I misread from the jump, disregard, pretend it never happened, and whatever you do please don’t tell anyone. I’ve got a reputation to uphold.

Sorry I was piggybacking on the other posters interest in comparing Iran to Nazis.
He was opining how well Jews and Christians are treated by the fine upstanding folks of Iran.
You had given us more info on the Jews in Iran.
As long as we were talking about Jews and googling I thought we could all see which fine upstanding folks may have contributed to the Oct 7 slaughter of Jews in Israel
But, I digress. I could have just as easily suggested we all access the googles to see what fine upstanding non-nazi regimes have slaughtered 10s of thousands of their own citizens in 2026 thus far.

I just don't see how Jews being limited from getting certain jobs in a nation that is an Islamic Republic rises to the Nurenberg Laws (where Jews were stripped of their citizenship), the Kristallnacht, or events that could be considered Nazi-ish. Is there discrimination against non-Muslims in an Islamic Republic? I absolutely guarantee you there is. Does that level of discrimination rise to the level of Nazi Germany? Nah.
And this kind of brings up a different, but adjacent point: when every injustice - perceived or real - is compared to the Nazis, the actual things Jews, Roma, Poles, Slavs, and others expieranced from Nazi Germany are devalued. It's really no different than when pink haired troons sky scream that Trump is literally Hitler. He's not, and comparing not letting tranys play women's sports or do drag queen story hour to the actions those populations expieranced during WW2 devalues those horrific events.

Broheem, the only reason I even mentioned the Nazi part was in direct response to you asking about the “Nazi things” that the Irans could’ve been doing to Jews since the Revolt of ‘79. And to boot my mention of Nazi things was merely secondary to the main point of highlighting a few aspects of what everyday life may be like for Jewsies in Iran, present day.

I did see that, and while I may not necessarily agree with that as a general matter, I was still curious about Jews in Iran, regardless of any Nazi things and stuff. Feel free to strike from the record my Nazi remark on the back end of the post, and allow the remaining commentary to stand.

No worries man. I don't take the internet seriously.

I don’t think it’s a situation of taking the internet too seriously. Just a discussion in a discussion forum. No big whoop, it’s coffee tawk.

The thing about certain posters here who want to pretend they have big historical reference brains miss is that they want to compare existing evil regimes who are in the process of doing or preparing to do things with what the nazis already did and therefore decide one is somehow “better” than the other
Of course Neville chamberlin stuck his head into the same pile of sand and then he and all the other Molly coddlers were shocked when WW2 was over and all was revealed.
So when somebody takes a regime who has been killing Americans for 47 years, developing and stockpiling nuclear material and other weapons for decades, sponsoring terror proxies throughout the world, slaughtering their own citizens, having the extinction of a country in their charter, and screaming death to America and Israel for decades
And says “well that’s like crying about boys in the girls room, it’s really nothing like Nazi germany” in my opinion they should be given about as much attention as we should have given Neville chamberlin before the tanks started to roll and the ovens were turned on
Those who fail to learn from history are destined to repeat it. Fortunately some of us have learned the lessons of the 20th century. Even more fortunately we have an administration that’s choosing to act on them rather than acting childish and telling 50 something men to go sign up for battle like an internet tough guy

Go ahead and sign up to the stop Islamo-Nazis or whatever you believe this is. You can be part of the Next Greatest Generation. You can tell you grandkids of your exploits.
You're doubting down on your feels about Iran, and I'm glad you are. So sign the frick up, put on a fricking ruck sack, grab your rifle, and defend this great nation from 21st Century's Nazi Germany.
I don't see Iran with the same urgency you do, so I'm just going to disagree with you about the Ayatollah being as evil as art school fail out.

Went down and tried to sign up today. Turns out 50 something is too old
These are my feels about Iran. Feel free to move past them if you see thing different. . I don’t remember discussing my feels with you until you decided to respond to something that had nothing to do with you
Or keep posting your belief that anybody who has feels different from yours is required to “sign up”. If this makes you feel your position makes you look like anything more than a buffoon.
Besides, this great nation is doing a fine job (finally) of dealing with the Nazi like regime that is Iran. I would just be getting in their way as I imagine you would as well.
