is it common for a new president to fire/release US attorneys like this?

Stop being so reasonable. That doesn't belong here anymore.

Trump doesn't have a shred of evidence besides a link to Breitbart. And all of his fans will somehow still think this was 4D chess.

How about let's start with being able to back up what you say. He can say anything he wants if he can back it up and I'd have no problem with it.

We already know they made 2 requests to the FISA court. The previous President (while serving) claimed "Russians". Trump isn't playing by the old GOPe playbook and that is the reason he is in office.

Do you really think DC can be changed using the same old look/act like a choir boy routine?

I don't think your going to change it using twitter. Period. So we know about some FISA requests. Ok. Well let's see the evidence. As president, he has greater access to intelligence than anyone else in the world. There is no security issues with releasing evidence of his campaign, so if he has why not just lay the cards on the table. Instead, he either doesn't have anything, or he just allows people to attack his character which does nothing good for the county.

Why are people in this thread acting like this is a bad thing? Trump should produce some proof if he is going to make accusations of this magnitude. The posters in here cheering him on to do nothing are no better than the a wants and Rex's of the world who excused anything he did.

If he had proof, why would he ask them to investigate?

Hello police, I have a video of a man killing someone as well as the murder weapon and his confession on video, will you please send a homicide detective over to investigate this please?

The House intelligence committee has asked the executive branch for any evidence that would support President Donald Trump's claim that his phones were tapped at Trump Tower during last year's election.

Trump never said his phones were tapped.

Can the intelligence committee release proof of Russian interference? Or would 4-chan be too good at actually tracing IPs and MAC addresses? That's all I want. Show us that "evidence".

They don't have any. They are basing their report on Crowdstrike's audit and "Fancy Bear". Remember, the NSA would only give the report "moderate confidence" and not "high confidence" like the other agencies. Mike Rogers was fired because of it.

Well they're Democrats so they'll probably send him a sharp letter of rebuke and let everyone know in advance that they are sending it.

The New York Times' sources. If that's not legit then what is.
