Yet today, less than a week out from election day, we are still unsure what will happen here in California or nationally.
From your article. Reads like a propaganda fluff piece of what might happen.

I’m pretty sure this includes mail in and in person early voting .

I can guarantee you that some Republicans in Orange County will not vote to reelect Dana R. Republican votes just means the votes of registered Republicans and not people who voted for a Republican for Congress. It was registered Democrats who gave Trump the Presidency with their votes in PA, OH, MI, and WI in 2016.
Early voting can tell us how interested the voters are in an election. It cannot really tell you how they are voting. This is especially true in suburban areas.

All of these districts are shaped like pile of barf on a map.

Less nervous today than any day since Nov 2016.
Polls are great, early voting numbers are terrible for Republicans, and Democrats aren't sitting back expecting an outcome - we're actively working to make election night as bad as possible for Republicans.

You either didn't read or misread the article.
It's not like anyone expects better from you guys, though.

I look at early "other" votes and I just don't see how they couldn't be going R. If you care enough about politics to vote early but you don't want to put up your affiliation you're probably bucking the trend.
