39 days of the World Cup. Be careful out there, more opportunity for the asylum patients and America haters to pop out!
FBI Director Kash Patel announced over the weekend that the agency is mobilizing tactical teams for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
“This @FBI is turning to its extensive cadre of crisis response experts to help support the massive security work involved in protecting players, fans, and visitors throughout the 39-day tournament,” Patel wrote in a lengthy post on X.
The World Cup will be happening across 16 cities in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Some cities in the U.S. include Seattle, Boston and San Francisco.
“Led by our Critical Incident Response Group, known as CIRG, we are bringing to the table the longstanding tactical expertise, elite training, and cutting-edge tools and technology that are so vital to protecting high visibility sporting events such as the World Cup,” Patel’s post continued.
