The guy was clearly nuts and sought out these opinions on social media. You know he probably thought the world was ending in November especially given the kind of compounding melts that were being sent directly to his social media account every day (given his subscriptions).

Some of BLM's social media rhetoric is designed to play on people's emotions. It's not rational discourse.
Gavin Eugene Long, the terrorist shooter in Baton Rouge, was a supporter of left wing hate groups like that. He used social media to connect with like minded crazies. Clearly the shooter in Virginia used social media to feed his more insane opinions.

I told SFP he was Deep down the rabbit hole. There are tens of thousands just like him, guys that truly, in their hearts, want to kill Trump/Republicans. He was clearly into the kind of conspiracy theory that is spread a lot on left wing blogs and sites. Since the election, those opinions and conspiracy theories found their way onto mainstream news. His social media account proves that he surrounded himself with those kinds of opinions, which I'm sure were spreading even more nonsense than usual after the election.
It's enough to make an unstable person lose their grip completely like he did.
