Very true. The Founders believed that God (Divine Providence) ordained the Founding of this Nation. IMO, our extraordinary success resulted in "Idolatry"; I.e., "the worship of things made with the hands"...and, extreme Narcissism/Vanity/Self Worship. Such has evolved into the consequences we now witness. There will be no going back; only forward into a collapse, reboot and hopefully refinement of the Godly Principles which allow Freedom.
Secular Humanism will seek to command and control via High Tech; but given the blindness and spiritual dysfunction therein...it'll be herding cats. Transnational Progressive version. Which will likely be in line with the Eschatological, Biblical narrative of a 'One World Government' that becomes innately corrupted, and turns on those it purports to love and serve. Satan's shot at Worldly glory. And then, the "Second Coming" of Truth; and another round of Divine Providence to bail us out of our deserved judgement and consequence re 'Idolatrous'/Narcissistic misadventure.
"New wine" don't go in "old bottles". America served it's educational purpose. We are moving forward. The poignancy of the 'old' going away, to make way for the new, is overpoweringly sad. But mitigated by the hope of that which is to come. Faith is key. Thank you Jesus.
