This was an opportunity to show that in a major national crisis we, as a country, are able to unite and put politics aside.
It was.

Unfortunately what you want simply isn’t possible anymore. Which is very sad.

Mean, hateful and a lie. Some people were going to become infected regardless.

Are you serious? Do you not remember the daily Coronavirus Task Force briefings? Remember VP Pence was the head, the Doctors Fauci, Brixx and others provided in depth information including charts, CDC provided guidelines. You critical people need to remember all the things that were done to advise the public about the dangers of the virus. Just because President Trump tried to reassure the public he is basically (some cases literally) being called a murderer. Anyone that falls for this Democratic gaslighting is just plain dumb.

Twitter link to Washington Examiner

Here's Trump in March talking about wanting to keep Americans calm and not spread panic.

If the pearl clutching Dem operatives wouldn't have made such a big deal about his first travel ban, his action of banning travel to and from China should have been a major clue that this wasn't a good situation.

He was assembling a panel of doctors, scientists, and other experts to come together as a task force while the Dems were impeaching him. He followed the task force recommendations.

Given that Congress had been briefed on COVID as well, and chose to go forward spending the majority of their time with impeachment, who really had their priorities straight with regards to the safety of the American people?

Yes. He is. If you don't believe in butchering babies in the womb... or giving up your guns to Schumer/Pelosi
... or illegal immigrants storming your country ...
or Marxists ruling us like Venezuela

So basically if you have any brain at all, Trump is the most reassurance I've had in this great country since Reagan took the oath of office.

I think he said waaaaayyyy to much and he said it the wrong way.

I can picture the ads-

Somber music.... woman sitting in her kitchen looking sad talks about her mother dying from covid and how she couldn’t go see her in the hospital as she spent her final days on a ventilator and Trump downplayed the severity all the while knowing that it was deadly and easily transmitted

Doesn’t matter what any of you believe about the severity and ease of spread. What matters is what Trump said and the fact that his own words will be used against him.

Just dumb. Really dumb.

If I was a lawyer, I would hate to have trump as a client. Says too much.

True dat - the great (and only) talent the DEMs have is to take any combination of words, remove them from the context of the conversation, and apply them to a made up situation and cry "OMIDOG"

If some phrase is too difficult to mis-represent, then they'll just call it an ATTACK ON MINORITIES!!!!!

not an ounce of honesty in the DEMs, the Media, the Education establishment, the Entertainment industry, or the good-ol-boy network in DC.

I equate it to being on a flight that’s going down. Do you expect the pilot to say
A) “omg omg OMG OMG!!! We’re all gonna die! Say your prayers and kiss your arse goodbye”

Or

B) “ladies and gentlemen, were having some technical difficulties please fasten your seatbelts, we may hit some turbulence”

I think I’d pick B, along with everyone else.

Right. Because all of that is realistically going to happen.

Might even be that if you had any brain at all, you would be terrified, not calmed, by him.

lol so that's your defense? None of that is really gonna happen? A million abortions a year and you are good with that I'm sure. It's already nearly impossible to legally buy a handgun in some places. Illegal immigrants were pouring over the border before Trump (that's your voters I know). And BLM is the darling of you leftist and they openly DECLARE that they are a Marxist organization.

Your narrative is demonstrably crap.
