My level of patriotism is so low, that I walk past the flag in disgust anymore and don't know how to deal with it.

On one hand, the flag to me represents everything great about what this country was, and the foundational principles the country was founded on.

So I am wondering about other options where I can still show my pride in what the country was and for freedom, but really don't want to fly the same flag associated with this government right now.

I fly the UGA flag because I’m already used to that disappointment

People have such odd relationships with flags.

I may take mine down and erect it in my backyard.

If you fly one, just fly it upside down.

Obey all the other guidelines for treatment of the US flag.

Liberals and illegals burn American flags. We're better than that.

I don’t fly it any longer. I took them
Off my boat. I use to fly small flags on the outriggers and a big one on the tower. Bought new flags every year for the boat and I would fold the old ones up and take them to the hunting club to burn in the fire pit.

I took the boat out for the first time this weekend and removed all of the flags and threw them in the back of my truck. I will throw them
In the trash can this week for pick up!

Hang it on a taller pole, maybe then the kneelers will break their fricking necks trying to take a look at it.

You got me.
I have little pride in my current country.
Personally, I choose to engage in the following:

Pray and worship.

Support my state.

Vote (doesn’t matter if you live in Michigan, Arizona, Pennsylvania, or Georgia).

Support and honor soldiers and veterans.

Recognize and teach the youngsters in my life about all people who were important in our nation’s history—even those whose statues have been razed.

Buy from small businesses.

Look out for my neighbors.

Whenever possible, avoid government services.

I still fly the Stars and Stripes because it doesn't stand for Joe Biden and his crowd it stands for America. The warriors that defended freedom and built this country should still be honored. I will never surrender my flag to those jerks.

I also have an "Appeal to Heaven", Gadsden Flag and Betsy Ross flag to fly along with it to add context, as well as a Kentucky state flag.

I proudly fly mine everyday. To me, the flag represents all those who have fought and sacrificed their lives so that I can live in the greatest country in the world. It's not about politicians. I fly it so that every veteran knows I support what they have done to keep us safe.
