Already seeing a commercial on You Tube for voting for a library tax on June 27 In EBR

And that’s going be a no for me dog. I am done voting against my own financial interest.

If it’s not a tax to support fireman or policeman then it’s almost a guaranteed no from me

No for me as well. We need to get rid of all of these smaller elections in the spring. We need to go back to Jungle Primary with all taxes and amendments on the Oct/Nov ballots.

Sneaking new taxes and renewals on off cycle elections is BS!

At this point in time, the likelihood of me voting for a library tax is about the same as me voting for a tax to fund the construction of more Dollar General stores.

There's supposed to be an amendment on the November ballot that mandates all taxing elections be put on state election ballots. I'm assuming it passed the house/senate/got signed for voting.

What is considered a taxing election? Is this for new taxes or will it include renewals as well.

What is considered a state election ballot? For example yesterday was a state wide election would new taxes be on spring state wide election days?

I guess its a step in the right direction. Thanks for sharing
