That's why I have just responded with the generic, "Yes, they do," when I hear the phrase spoken. It's neutral and it doesn't start an argument or lead to loss of life or limb. Because I genuinely believe a human life is sacred and thus all lives matter. But apparently by uttering the latter phrase, I am deemed - at best - a covert white supremacist.
