Nope,
AG was on the radio this morning and said the only way was for the State GOP to disavow Moore and still have the election. If Moore wins then Ivey can declare the election null and void and order another special election. The hopes of removing Moore from the ballot ended in Oct. The only move the GOP has right now is trying to mount a write in candidate.
The GOP will die in the state of Alabama if any of this is done. You can bet on that.

Yep. Saw the AG on Shannon Bream's show last night say the same thing. Chris Stirewalt got a tingle down his leg when he heard this. He was plum giddy in confessing that this was new news to him.

Exactly. If Roy Moore died today the election will be held. If he won the governor would appoint someone and then have another election. They want him to drop out which at this late in the game is the same as conceding the election. This election will be held. Roy Moore, regardless of accusations, is eligible to run and will win.
