So you think every person only needs 1 test?

I would imagine people in hospitals, 1st responders, etc will need constant testing.

Yep. Japan was requiring 2 negative tests before clearing people from quarantine.

3 tests per person and we still don't need a billion.
Besides isn't it a stick with a cotton ball on it? How hard is it to crank those things out in a month or so?

Constant monitoring will be needed if it's as bad as they're making it out to be

I don't have any room for a swab. Uncle Sam's dick is occupying 100% of my anus at the moment

The company who manufactures many of the swabs and transport media for viral PCR analyzers is called Copan Diagnostics. They’re based in Italy.

An Air National Guard unit transported 500,000 swabs – used as part of the process to test for COVID-19 – from Italy to Memphis, Tenn. The swabs were then loaded onto FedEx aircraft and distributed around the country as directed by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)

It is only a coincidence that US cases of the virus has spiked since the Italian swabs have been distributed for immediate use throughout the country.

What if the swabs were manufactured in China and were defective or worse.

Captain of Theodore Roosevelt: nearly 200 sailors test positive COVID-19

Why was the Air Force exposed to supplies that may have been contaminated from hard hit Italy?

That's good and all, but kind of a drop in the bucket when you need billions of them.

Ugh...what?
