After putting the capitol storming into perspective, I will admit...

I was completely right and it was 100% justified
These motherfrickers screwed over millions of hard working Americans and let hundreds of thousands of people die just because they didn’t want a political enemy to look good.
And a handful of larpers taking selfie’s on the senate floor is a threat to American Democracy. GTFO

this all goes back to the state propaganda networks and how they portray things and how the public eats it up as fact
burning buildings in Portland for no reason at all for 6 months? no biggie, won't cover it

The only thing it accomplished was it left no doubt the left only cares when rioting is from the right.

It isn't exactly storming a building when you get let inside. If that number of people had wanted, say AOC, they easily could have dragged her out of there.
But that's not what happened. There was a small minority that got really violent. The Capitol wasn't set afire. A bunch of cops didn't get beaten down. Indeed the one that died I am still not sure exactly what happened with him.
One thing we all know, with certainty. The woman that was shot by security forces. Had she been BLM, the response would have been civil war, Washington and the Capitol would have been burned, along with major US cities.
The media has made this sound like the French Revolution. It wasn't nearly that bad. But if such a thing were to happen again, next time it could be far worse. And troops wont help, if they turn on the mob they'll never be able to go home again, ever.
Not to mention they'd be badly outnumbered by a heavily armed foe. The Deep State saw what could be the future , and it scared the hell out of them.

you just made one of the best points nobody in media or government has mentioned- that I have heard
basically, with that mass if people and no security, every single congressman could have been slaughtered that day if the desire was there.

I agree, but again why do we always get aced out by the left? And never the other way around? It is frustrating.
A couple things Trumps team could have done to prevent it...
1) Initial poster said "its going to be wild!" dumb! Should have very clearly said "peaceful" and emphasized being peaceful
2) Trumps team should have made sure there was enough security in place to prevent this. There were reports of Antifa being hidden in the crowd well within a week prior.
3) Better barricades
I know this is very Monday night QB, but at some point we need to stop walking into these traps all the time. The damage done to our movement and Trump personally from the events will probably never go away. It sucks it could not have been prevented.

There was adequate security but only if you don't unlock the doors and invite them in.

Trump team? You’re kidding right? Capitol police and dc were responsible for security. They asked 5 times for backup and were denied. FBI and nypd notified them two days beforehand of credible threats and nothing was done.
They didn’t even notify Trump or his secret service detail. Pelosi and McConnell had to have known. Anyone think to ask? They got the optics they wanted and prevented the showing of credible election fraud evidence on a national platform.
And you wonder why people are so upset.

I dont disagree with you. I completely acknowledge it was a setup.
What I am pointing out is, that the left is insidious, malicious, evil and has no soul. They have no issue causing a quasi riot resulting in the death of 5 people... allowing them to gain a tactical advantage in the media.
How do we, on the right contend this? And not allow ourselves to get setup going forward? I am Monday morning QBing on this, I admit. I just wish it could have been avoided.
